**Movies I watch while I draw**

Shiki-Jitsu (2000) Hideaki Anno. I really liked this movie, I had only seen Hideaki's evangelion many years ago and had seen him act in a couple of movies. I knew he had directed more works but had never looked them up. the place where the girl lived reminded me a lot of when I lived in a squat for a couple of years.

Face / Kao (2000) Junji SakamotoI picked this movie at random. the description said it was a drama/comedy. i chose it thinking i would see something relatively light, but it had no comedy at all. it's a good movie, but very sad and full of terrible situations.

The farwell (2019) Lulu Wang I like this one, sorry for the spoiler, but how strange it must be to keep it a secret that someone has cancer and watch them die and not be able to tell them that's what happens.

Showing Up (2022) Kelly Reichardt This is one of those movies where nothing seems to happen. It reminded me of many of my former classmates when I studied arts. .

funny pages (2022) Owen Kline It's not a bad movie, but I'll probably forget I saw it in a couple of weeks.

**Music**

Lately I've been very obsessed with Bach's Partita No. 2, especially the one performed by Glenn Gould. I've never been a classical music listener, but Gould had a very strange way of playing that makes me like it a lot, and I love how underneath the sound of the piano you can hear his voice accompanying the music.
